Volunteers
We need passionate, creative, camp-loving women who are ready to make this a summer to remember for some great campers! GCC is looking for both full-time and part-time volunteers.
Dates for volunteers: Dates for volunteers are July 15th-22nd, 2024.
Requirements: All volunteers must be 18 or older* at the time of camp and a background check must be completed. Proof of insurance is necessary as well.
*Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
What is provided: Food and lodging, camp t-shirts, training, and lots of summer fun! *Transportation to and from camp is not provided.
General duties as a full-time volunteer:
Assist the personal needs of campers
Oversee and ensure safety around the campground
Facilitate activities during daytime and evening programs
Help campers with water activities
Create a fun, positive camp environment
Stay overnight at camp
General duties as a part-time volunteer:
Lead and plan program activities
Engage with campers
Assist where needed around camp
Show up to assigned day shifts
