Counselor In Training

We need passionate, creative, camp-loving young women who are ready to make this a summer to remember for some great campers! GCC is looking for Counselors In Training who are in high school and are interested in learning the skills needed to be an outstanding couselor.  

Dates for Counselors In Training: Dates for Summer 2024 are July 15th-21st. 

Requirements:  CIT 1 is for first-year CIT's and will be supporting program staff and running the programs during camp. 

CIT 2 is for CIT's who have completed CIT 1 and will be supporting the unit staff with camper care and assigned to a camper group for the session. 

All CITs must be 15 or older* at the time of camp. Proof of insurance is necessary as well. 

CIT's can earn volunteer hours for their service at GCC. Please bring any volunteer paperwork with you. 

*Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.
